When to discuss rates?
Context:
A former colleague asked me to help a friend build a website. So far there has been no mention of money or budget. He’s asking me to go over the requirements and come up with a website mockup. Should I start working when we haven’t even discussed rates or is a website draft a part of the “free demo”?
