I realized last year I set too many goals for myself; this led to my time being spread out as I juggled multiple projects at once. As a result I did not meet all of my goals in 2014 but I did learn some valuable lessons which I discuss in another blog post.
I wanted to take the time to share my goals for 2015 so that I can have some level of public accountability in reaching these goals. I know if I say something I will definitely get it done, which is why I am stating what those goals are.
Two words will define my year as I move forward
I want to be intentional with my time as I move towards reaching my goals this year. This will require me to work harder in order to have more focus and also say no to certain opportunities even if they are good opportunities.
I also want to be committed this year, so if I say something then I make sure to follow through and do it and I need to be committed to prioritizing and finishing my goals. Once those goals have been reached then I can move on to the next goals I have in my queue.
Book will be completed in Q1
The first of my goals for this year is to complete the book Freelance Jumpstart in the first quarter of the year. I am going to buckle down and take the time to finish the book. I’ve done tons of research and I have everything I want to discuss in the book. At the moment I am 60% complete with the book, if you have anything you would like to see in the book feel free to let me know and submit the comment at this link.
I received some useful feedback on the previous articles I have written but consistency is the key. This year I plan to write more blog articles on a consistent basis and produce a lot more content. I plan to use January as a month to plan and once the book is completed you will see content from me on a weekly basis.
Starting with the video above you will begin to see more videos from me. Video is a great medium to use and a great way to serve up interactive content. I have the equipment and know how so why make more videos.
